Welcome to Your Doula, Monique

I'm Monique, a birth doula, child-birth educator, post-partum doula and breastfeeding councellor based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

My journey into birth work started after the birth of my son. Before becoming a mum and doula, I worked as an allied health professional here in Riyadh. I have a deep appreciation for the human body and the importance of compassionate, empowering, evidence-based care.

When I became pregnant, I quickly realised how overwhelming it can feel to navigate pregnancy and birth—even with a healthcare background. Alhamdulillah, my experience showed me how important it is to understand your options, ask questions, advocate respectfully, and feel supported throughout your journey. My experience sparked a fire for birth-work that I cant put out.

To me, birth-work isn't just a profession-it's a privilege.

It's about walking alongside women as they make informed decisions, helping you prepare for birth with confidence, and supporting you with compassion no matter how your story unfolds.

Your obstetrician and midwives are there to provide your medical care. My role is different. I'm there to support you—emotionally, physically, and practically—from pregnancy through birth and into the fourth trimester.

Every family deserves to feel heard.
Every woman deserves to feel supported.
Every birth deserves compassion.

Welcome, and I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your journey.
